Grafton Notch State Park - Newry, ME, USA

I finally got over to Grafton Notch State Park in Newry. It peaked my interest a couple months ago, but I haven't gotten there until today. It has been soggy and rainy all week, but that didn't stop me, Heather, Jesse, and my aunt and uncle from getting out and exploring. It beats the hell out of staying inside anyway.

I saw a lot of cute flowers, neat fungi, and fantastic waterfalls. It was definitely worth the 6 hours (total) of driving!

Birch Point Beach - Owl's Head, ME, USA

So, the title is a little bit of a lie. I went to Birch Point, yes, but I also started my day at Moose Point in Searsport. I already have a post with that title though, so I figured I'd give Birch the credit for today. I think I walked 5 or 6 miles today, just wandering around rocks and forests and beaches. It was worth it though! What a gorgeous day to be outside!!!
