Ducktrap Backcountry Ski Trail - Lincolnville, ME, USA

Don’t let my title fool you. I did two hikes today, but adding both would make way too long of a title. Heather and I started off with Mount Battie in Camden Hills State Park. I, being super intelligent, did not eat breakfast and thought I was going to die for the first half of the hike. The top of Mount Battie overlooks Camden Harbor and downtown Camden. It was dotted with cute little boats today!

The second hike we did wasn’t up any mountain, unless you count the hill we had to walk up at the end to get back to my house. Even Matt tagged along for a walk through part of the Ducktrap Preserve in Lincolnville. In the winter, it’s a backcountry ski trail. In the summer, it’s six miles of bushwhacking. It was awesome!
