Acadia Mountain - Acadia National Park, ME, USA

I sometimes forget there's a whole other half of Acadia. The east side, with park loop road and Cadillac, is usually packed with tourists. The west side seems like more of a secret. I doubt it is, but I can pretend. I decided on Acadia Mountain today. It was about two miles round trip and 681 feet high - nice and steep! We all know how much I love climbing stuff... well, maybe we don't all know that. The scenery was incredible. Parts of it overlook Somes Sound, and the summit gives a clear view of a couple islands.

The sun even came out!
