Kejimkujik National Park - Annapolis, NS, Canada

We got another rainy day today, but it didn't stop us from a 3km hike through Kejimkujik National Park. We wandered through and saw some remains of an old gold mine. The mosquitoes were pretty terrible, but it was a nice hike.On the way back, we heard a little rustle. When we turned around, we were facing two white tailed deer. I've never seen them this close in the wild, so it was really exciting! They weren't three feet away! I didn't get a picture because I'd kept my camera in my bag because it was really rainy.
